01 — Who We Are

Alexander AI ("Alexander", "the App", "we") is a personal schedule management application. The app scans screenshots, detects events and shifts using artificial intelligence, and adds them to your calendar automatically.

02 — What We Collect

Information You Provide

Username you choose during setup
Category and reminder preferences
Google Calendar connection (encrypted Refresh Token)

Automatically Collected Information

Device ID — for sending notifications only
Expo Push Token — for sending calendar updates
Images selected for scanning (not stored on server — sent to Gemini AI and immediately deleted)
Events detected and added to calendar (stored encrypted in Firebase)

What We Do NOT Collect
We do not store images or screenshots on the server
We do not read messages, contacts, or health data
We do not sell data to third parties
We do not track location

03 — How We Use Your Information

Detecting events and shifts from images using Gemini AI (Google)
Adding events to your Google Calendar
Sending push notifications when events are added
Improving scan accuracy based on your schedule profile

04 — Third-Party Services

Google Calendar API

When you connect Google Calendar, we store an encrypted Refresh Token to write events to your account. You can disconnect at any time from the app or from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google Gemini AI

Images you select for scanning are sent to Gemini AI for processing. Google does not train models on images from private users. See Gemini API Terms.

Firebase (Google)

User data is stored in Firebase Firestore on Google servers in the Europe region. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

Expo Push Notifications

Push Token is stored on the server for sending updates. Expo does not access notification content. See Expo Privacy Policy.

04b — Google API Services Compliance

Google API User Data Policy Commitment

Alexander AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

We only request the minimum scopes necessary (calendar.events, email, profile)
Calendar data is used solely for adding events you extract from screenshots
We do not share your Google data with any third parties
We do not use your Google data for advertising or marketing
Human access to your data is limited to authorized support personnel only when you explicitly request assistance
Your calendar data is stored encrypted and transmitted over HTTPS only

05 — Storage & Security

All data stored in Firebase Firestore with full encryption at every stage
Server runs on Google Cloud Run (region me-west1, Israel)
Communication encrypted via HTTPS only
Refresh Tokens stored in a secured database and never exposed to the client

06 — Your Rights

Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you
Deletion: Send a request to alexanderaiapp@gmail.com and we will delete all your data within 30 days
Disconnect Google Calendar: from the app at any time, or through Google Account settings
Disable Notifications: from device settings at any time

07 — Policy Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
